Come and enjoy a day or a week in the beautiful splendor of Winterwood Farm. We have the most beautiful suites to relax in and the most amazing countryside to explore, with each change of season offering a fresh outlook and a new adventure.

For The Travelling Horseman or Women...

For the travelling horseman or woman, Winterwood is the place to stop over or stay awhile. We can provide safe stabling for 2 horses, with a small run-out and private grass paddock.

Winterwood is 5km off Highway 11 and 200 yards off paved secondary highway (624), but when you arrive, the tranquility is astounding and the highway seems a million miles away. Put up your feet and relax while your horses munch hay and rest.

Miles of Trails to Wander...

We have 240 acres of trails and open fields to wander or gallop in, or head down our dead end road to explore miles and miles of wilderness trails.

We function as a Bed & Breakfast, but can accomodate most requests for meals right at the homestead, with a prearranged menu plan.

We also boast a very large inground pool and sauna house, overlooking the river paddock, to help you relax on those hot summer nights or cool fall evenings.
